Engineering Firm Hired for SARRP Phase 1

We're excited to announce that the UAWP has contracted with the firm WaterVation to conduct the initial design/engineering work on the first phase of the South Arkansas River Restoration Project (SARRP). Over the next few months, we'll be meeting with landowners and other partners to determine the scope and parameters of the project on a 1.2 mile reach of the South Arkansas River on the south side of Salida, Colorado. By mid-2025 we plan to have 60% design and start applying for project funding.
